A follow-up post of the unique features of 3CX, besides mobility for the this project due to it's landscape and environment; is the Ease Phone Management. Imagine it does auto provisioning of phone extensions; enterprise features such as Phone Book, Message Waiting Lamp, powerful & flexible Interactive Voice Response (IVR), Call Queues; Intercom & Paging.

3CX has a flexibility to incorporate SIP CCTV or IP Door Access as part of the system extensions. Imagine, when an unwelcome visitor loiter around your building's entrance during an off day, your motion detector triggered your mobile extension via your 3CX tunnel while you are away from office, you are able to connect back to the specific CCTV camera to view & speak to the visitor via the door access speaker!

It is superb COST EFFECTIVE INVESTMENT as user only need to invest ONE TIME on concurrent user license!!! Yes, no more having to pay separitely on trunk license or each physical hardphone or software license!

3CX VoIP PBX Project In Progress ~ Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studio

Pinewood Iskandar Malaysia Studio is a state of the art Film & Television Studio production with easy access to Asia Pacific region. MOBILITY IN COMMUNICATION plays an important role for them reason being it's new destination facility for production of filmed entertainment in Asia region provides 5 stages ranging from 15,000 to 30,000 sq ft; 2 TV studios 12,000 sq ft, 35,000 sq ft production office space, dressing rooms and hair & makeup rooms; 37,000 sq ft workshop space; post production facilities including editing rooms & screening theatre and backlot together with 30 acres of natural forest!

Why 3CX? Reason being our Microsoft Windows platform 3CX on SIP (Session Internet Protocol) standard works with major SIP phones, VoIP gateways and VoIP providers. Built-in with unified communications eg user presence allow easy access to the right available person, voicemail to email retrievable makes it easy for important message be read at the right time as checking email is such a standard practice, receive fax via email as PDF not only eco friendly but convenient and instant messaging makes communication easy! With the integration to Outlook it makes call by just a click with call journal and call pop-up features.

3CX enhances mobility where remote extensions can easily set up using 3CX tunnel. Eg, calls be forwarded to smart mobile phone as normal extension call without additonal phone bill when out of office with caller ID or allow user to send to company voicemail.

Butik Hotel ~ Satellite Master Antenna TV (SMATV) Solution

Satellite Master Antenna TV (SMATV) is the in-suite television content presented in hotel rooms, bar, cafe, gym or in hospitality industry for in-room entertainment.

According to Wikipedia, commonly a hotel TV system distributing Satellite TV signal is known as SMATV. In a L-band distribution system TV signal is sent for the satellite dish to a panel in a distribution closet to a set top box in each room which decrypts the digital signal via a coaxial network. In an IPTV system, all video, voice & data are transmitted over an internal hotel IP network.

We setup for Castello Hotel based on its 45 bedrooms requirement. The Satellite Dish and TV Antenna are installed on the roof top of it's 4-storey building. Dish tester was used to ensure good signal upon installation. The Astro and SMATV module are housed in rack located in their ground floor back office.

BUTIK HOTEL SOLUTION ~ Project In Progress Milestone

Earlier we posted the early stage of Castello Hotel under renovation, located at Jalan Kenanga 29/7, Indahpura Kulai Johor, Malaysia which housed 45 bedrooms.

Top left corner of current attached... picture are 2 racks. The upper rack housed the Wireless network for lobby & rooms, Office LAN PoE Switch, Digital Video Recorder (DVR) for CCTV and Internet Modem. Below rack housed Astro and Satellite Master Antenna TV (SMATV) for the rooms.

We used Enterprise Wifi platform with GruneStadt dual band access point complete with cloud ready management software bundled with non dedicated software controller that can be deployed on PC / MAC / Linux in a private cloud or using a public cloud service.

Opening soon ~ Castello Hotel, located at Jalan Kenanga 29/7, Indahpura Kulai, Johor, Malaysia.  It is a butik hotel housed 45 bedrooms.

Our scope of work involved design of extra low voltage (ELV) solution with shop drawing namely Door Access, Alarm System, PBX, Wireless System, CCTV & SMATV.  And supply of equipments, testing and commissioning of said solutions.

Our mobilization work starts as per the above attached picture of site condition.  Our team coordinate with client's building renovation team as well as cabling team.  Example, check and ensure respective types of cable are laid at the proposed locations.

Constant site survey for update of site progress before our team deliver goods to site begin our installation.

Basic Public Address System

Topmode Engineering designed & installed a Basic Public Address System for a Setia Tropika Club House in Johor Bahru, Malaysia with consideration of it's basic requirement.

 

We installed a mixer-cum-amplifier complete with bass & treble controls system. Due to client's requirement of only 2 zones speaker distribution channels, we installed a 3-zones selector with a 'All Call' feature during emergency.

There are 3 types of speakers installed for this site. A normal ceiling speakers for general area; ABS ceiling speakers for sauna room due to moist & heat resistants; and Horn speakers for TNB & Generator Room because is suitable for harsh environment & robust use.

Enterprise Wireless Access Points Maintenance

Ever wonder how the Port Authority so efficient in updating their data whenever the cargo ship arrive?

Our team act as sub-contractor and completed a maintenance of sixty-eight (68) units of Enterprise Wireless Access Point for Johor Port, Malaysia within two (2) weeks.

Such Enterprise Wireless Access Points (AP) are used for The Authority in-house real-time data entry such as update of cargo ship arrival, logistic & security.
